I have written pretty extensively about the Australian brand Skin Juice, in particular their Pulp Cleansing Paste, which is my absolute favourite cleanser. Recently Skin Juice sent me a few items to try, so I could use the entire range together, and I have to say that I love it!
Skin Juice is a brand which uses Nutraceuticals to work on any skin concerns that you have, without drying or irritating your skin. They also use a wide range of organic and natural ingredients, which resonates with me highly, I try and choose facial skin care that is organic, just as a personal preference.
I was really excited to try Skin Juice's acne product, Liquid. This is a very light, runny serum which aims to clear pimples and decrease acne causing bacteria, and therefore over the long term also preventing further pimples from popping up. Well guess what, it really works! To the point of being able to post a picture of myself without makeup on on my blog. I have been using this as a spot treatment if I get a pimple during the day, and at night I have been popping it on my skin where I tend to get break outs. It's fantastic. The reason that it works so well - it contains Salicyclic acid, Mandelic Acid, and a lot of ingredients and antioxidants to calm the skin, plus Manuka which is known for its antibacterial properties. Attack on all fronts!
Fused Skin Drops is Skin Juice's answer to a night time moisturizer. I have been using Rosehip oil as a night moisturizer all year, so using oil wasn't new to me. This oil has a base of Camillia Seed Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil and Macadamia Seed Oil so it is richly hydrating. It takes a little while to soak into my skin, however it hasn't caused any break outs, so it can't be too rich! Plus, it smells absolutely delicious (a little like roses, but with a spice behind it).
I am not a fan of Oil Cleansers, it gives me shivers when I rub oil on a makeup filled face, even though I know how good it is to cleanse with oil. I sucked it up for the purposes of beauty blogging however, and also because Drench Dermal Repair Cleansing Oil smells so good (you can smell the Ylang Ylang, which is just gorgeous). This is a lovely cleanser, which removes heavy makeup - it does work better if you take it off with a face washer rinsed in warm water however - if you don't it feels like it is never going to wash off! It also contains ingredients designed to calm irritation, which is what my poor dry acne prone skin needs.

Little Jo and Chelsea, it works amazingly well. I was surprised, because normally I feel that I need to dry the heck out of the spot for it to go away, but Liquid works so well without any drying at all! I love it.
