Rimmel Glam Eyes Mono Eyeshadow in Punchy Taupe

I purchased this with Yolly from Shopping Intervention after a chance meeting at the Benefit Brow Bar in Brisbane on Tuesday. Basically Yolly and I were on the hunt for something for me to buy in Priceline, so I didn't leave empty handed. I was on the hunt for a non-sparkly/shimmery eyeshadow that was just a couple of shades darker than my skin tone, to give me that sleep eyed look so favoured in the 1920's. It took ages (and I felt like a picky crazy person) but in the end I eventually found this eyeshadow.

I have worn it every day since (read: 3 days) and I like it. It isn't quite what I wanted, but it is reasonably close. This eyeshadow is long lasting (til 6 when I wash it off), it is super soft and blends really easily. The colour is somewhat similar to what I was after. I say somewhat, as it contains some shimmer. Not ideal when looking for something completely matte, however I kinda like it. It's more of a barely there shimmer which gives the colour some punch, instead of a glittery disco ball of disaster.

I didn't even notice until I took this picture, but I have green eyes. This is for green eyes! Hurrah.
